Fantastic! I thought I was pretty careful, looking at all the info on the census to gather clues, but this showed me I need to look at them again as I probably missed some important details. Thanks!!!!!

Learning to read below the surface is important to learn and Warren certainly gave examples of exactly that. The reminders to cite sources of inferences as well as facts makes your research richer. Great presentation. Thank you.

I had never considered using the inference process before, will certainly give it a try on my next road block.

Excellent. Didn’t know about all the information found in the 1880 census. My “brick wall” is in 1760, however.

Absolutely a great subject. I can’t wait to try his system out on some of my problem areas. He talked slowly so we could comprehend what he said (some speakers talk way too fast) and had time to think of questions – which he actually answered every time. Warren’s talks are always very informative.

A fantastic webinar! F. Warren Bittner has reminded me of ways I can use more modern data to develop inferences which, in turn, will help me uncover data generations earlier.
