He did an excellent job presenting the benefits and challenges of using censuses, including a few new reasons for why people lied about specific information like ages. It was quite disheartening to realize no every county recognizes the historic value of censuses. I understand their reasoning, but it’s still disheartening as a genealogist to think of all that valuable data being destoyed.
