When you get up to 16 generations, that’s a lot of folders under other folders. I do as you do: girls with parents until married. That has always worked for me too.

I can’t wait to tear into my existing filing system and organize it! Cyndi always packs so much information into her webinars! Excellent!

I could have listened for hours! Looking forward to hearing Cyndi again, and thanks, too, to Marian.

I feel confident now to start organizing my digital genealogy files into folders and to be able to save information I previously didn’t. Thank you SO much CYndi

I felt I was jumping around to quickly. As I get older I find I need a slower approach. Personal issue I guess.

I got some very good ideas to try with my computer files. Thanks!

I had not heard Cyndi before. She is TERRIFIC! I am already doing a number of the things she described, but I will be considering other tips which were new to me. That was time very well spent! Thank you.

I have been working on family history for 30? years and understood most of what Cyndi was sharing with us. I also learned some new tips that I will apply to my records. THANK YOU CYNDI!!

I have learned new methods of organizing my files on the computer that makes sense. My newest challenge will be to rename and store the documents that I find. I think I’ll start a ‘do over’!

I learned a lot that I can use in file naming and organization. Thank you Cyndi!

I learned so many tips to maintain the organization of my pc files and folders from Cyndi Ingle. I could listen and learn from her for hours. I appreciate the opportunity Geoff Rasmussen/Legacy FT freely providing this opportunity.

I LOVE Cyndi’s energy! She makes it fun.

I LOVE organization. I have a little bit of each idea she provided … but the Date Order in a subfolder was the magic bullet. It might take 2 days to reorganize things but this could not have come at a better time. Wish I had known that
you could just work in the dropbox files and have it automatically update the item in the non-cloud computer file – some day I might learn how I am supposed to be using Dropbox. Great webinar. Will tweak my thinking and watch again so
that I can fine tune. THANKS

I loved it – picked up several good tips I will use for sure.

I thought I was organized- now not so sure! Excellent!!!!!

I thought my genealogy files were pretty well organized, but it was getting cumbersome as I was round out the documentation on my ancestors, but, I love the shortcut idea especially to free up some space on my hard drive. This was
    AWESOME!!!

I thought that I was very organized but I can see some room for improvement after watching this webinar.

Many good and useful ideas to implement.

Maybe you could have Cyndi do this as a multi-part webinar/class? I’d like to hear her cover each section more in-depth.

    OUTSTANDING….. BRAVO……

    Packed full of useful information

Parts were overwhelming – will be going to her website to look up organization. I think it will be good to plan out a little. Right now I have have things under surname only and don’t go down any more levels.

Really, really got a lot out of Cyndi’s organizing webinar. Many tips and tricks that I didn’t know. Especially like the way she named the generational NASH’s. Bring her back to talk more on this subject.
seeing the two file-system windows together

Thank you so much for this webinar!

Thank you, Cyndi INGLE! Hoping to see you at GRIP this summer for more tips.

Thanks Cyndi for the excellent presentation.

Thanks Cyndi! This is the BEST lecture on organization I’ve attended. I plan to use the direct line hierarchy on my newly organized computer. Thanks for teaching us how to use short cuts and for explaining how the cloud works and about
back-up services, too. I will re-visit this webinar for sure!

There is not a single subject that Cyndi could do a webinar on, that I would not attend. One of the most knowledgeable people I have found in genealogy. I am thrilled that she is a resource for us on Legacy Webinars. THANK YOU.

There was just so much amazing information shared that I couldn’t keep up! Thank goodness I am a member and can rewatch the webinars as many times as I need to get it!

This is what I am working on right now so it really came in handy! I have a pretty good filing system, BUT I got carried away and have it in several locations and they are no loner the same. I am doing a bunch of clean up work right now
and this webinar really gave me some good clues. Thank you for all the good stuff I get from you.

This was a fabulous, informative webinar! I have done a lot of reading and you tube videos on digital organization, but this was the first time that I was able to see how the filing system looks and works on a live computer. Learning by
visuals works best for me, and this was by far my top, favorite webinar on organization! Thank you Cyndi! I will be watching your other videos in the near future!

This was a fantastic presentation, with more information than I could capture. Please have Cyndi back OFTEN!

This was my first webinar and it was brilliant. Lots of ideas to sort all my documents. Can’t wait to get started.
