Very interesting – I know a little about haplogroups, but it was great to dip a toe in a little further.
Was a very indepth look into haplogroups and helped me to understand it better. Very well presented.
Donna provided an excellent of DNA basics and brought me up to date with the various DNA testing organizations, especially FamilyTreeDNA where I have done most of my testing. An added bonus for me is that I am also a descendant of the Rutherford Family and I will be contacting Donna soon.

Donna did a wonderful job of explaining Haplogroups and how they came about. I enjoyed her case studies about how she is trying to find where in Scotland her ancestors originated. Thanks for the wonderful syllabus, too.
