About this webinar

Genealogy Standards spells out eight documentation standards, which give genealogists guidance for documenting genealogical writing. I was hugely impressed with the presentation. It was precise and informative. The citation jungle has had me confused and reluctant for years and now it has been de-mystified. A BIG thank you. The syllabus notes will help me to ‘remember’ the format and will be used as a quick and easy reference – until I become competent (which will probably be a long time!)

It gave a great understanding of what the basic purpose of documentation is, ie, that given how you documented something will allow your great grand children to find what you have documented.

Jones was, as always, in top form. I can’t believe he squeezed so many instructions and examples in! This webinar will be tremendously valuable to look back at for years.

The presentation was excellent. I will listen to it again. Now I will reexamine the templates I use for my citations.
