Well organized huge presentation – easy to follow along. Wonderful to learn the many reasons over time for emigrations from ‘Germany’. And the possible places to look for records driven by governing and social changes. Many thanks Ursula!

I spent 6 years over 3 tours of duty in Germany during the 60s to 80s. I learned what I could about each place I was stationed. In about an hour, Ursula fit it all together to make more sense. She covered what others usually overlook. Thank you for an enjoyable and informative time.

The historical perspective and religion controlled areas may be very helpful in explaining the timing of some of my German family immigration to the USA and where I should look for records. Thank you very much.
