This lecture discusses some of the more advanced records within Italian civil registration: Allegati [birth, death, and marriage supplements/attachments], Cittadinanza [citizenship records] and Atti Diversi [Diverse Acts]. Students will learn how these records can help to fill in the details of an Italian families’ history as well as track them across Italy. and around the world.
Melanie D. Holtz, CGsm is a board-certified genealogist, lecturer, and writer with a specialty in Italian genealogy and Italian-American dual citizenship. With offices in both the U.S. and Italy, she’s able to provide her clients with a wide range of services, including Italian ancestral tours.
