Very well documented, with a lot of “extra” features. I started out with the CD’s from Legacy 3 I believe, and then have the book from Legacy 7…so much more on the new versions…however I no longer have a Windows computer. I will work on how to document things on my My Heritage site though…Thank you for that detailed explanation…loved the citation tools!!!

You have convinced me to go back to genealogy software in addition to my online tree. The kicker for me was being able to add a citation at the fact level as opposed to being limited to the event level. This is crucial when looking at correlating evidence and conflicts. But I was pleasantly surprised by the To-Do list, the Geo-whatever for pinning places to latitudes and longitudes as well as the FAN Club report. Also love the Evidence Explained based citation builder.

Showing how to do something is far greater than reading how.. Now, when I get some future time I can go back to my direct family, parents and then add the info, media.. My primary keeping is under the Research tab and I copy & paste the info from the search site (FAMILY SEARCH) on the individual persons web page.. and at end of each month I make hard copy’s of the work.. Now, I will be able to try doing some of this new approach procedure for my known ancestors

Geoff’s webinars are fun to listen to, as well as educational. He is very down to earth, admitting mistakes if he makes any, and also admitting that he doesn’t know it all. Geoff learns with us sometimes, which is also enjoyable. Keep the webinars coming, Geoff.

Geoff has just the right approach – middle of the road, not condescending, but quite prepared to say that it might be above a beginner’s pay grade, but then does it anyway!

Watch Geoff Live is always a great learning experience. I learn a lot about using Legacy Software from all of his webinars. I am a long time user of Family Tree Maker and am now using Legacy to start over and use the Source Writer on Legacy. Thanks for a very informative webinar.
