This webinar provides useful tips on developing an effective research plan, including the importance of crafting a focused research question and prioritizing potentially relevant sources.

Love the clear step-by-step approach to researching the specific research question!
Very informative. I wasn’t able to find some of the publications mentioned ont the NGS website. Overall lots of good info to navigate thru
This was very helpful. The way the speaker connected the process to specific genealogical standards and referenced the detail in the rubrics provided some grounding and context. I still find it a challenge to organize a research plan and prioritize the resources, especially when starting with oral history, but hopefully I’ll get better at this. The webinar gave me some ideas for how to tackle an involved research project I’m currently trying to wrap my head around.
Fantastically done. Thank you so much for explaining this so well!
Webinar fantastic very informative and interesting.
I’m not normally a research planner. I usually just hop and skip around when I find someone or something interesting. LaBrenda made planning seem easier than I’ve seen before and interesting, too!
This webinar was very informative since it is a topic that does not seem to be discussed or taught much in genealogy circles. As a beginning researcher, I appreciated the step-by-step plan the presenter discussed during the webinar and outlined in the handout.
Excellent presentation was well focused as should our future research plans.
