About this webinar

Ever stared at your DNA match list and felt that mix of excitement and dread? There you are, faced with hundreds of genetic cousins, each one holding a piece of your story – but let’s be honest, most of us have no clue what to do with all these mysterious relatives. In this straight-to-the-point lecture, we’re going beyond the basics of building a DNA Network to tackle the real question that keeps genealogists up at night: “Now that I have all these matches, how do I actually use them?” We’ll show you how to transform that overwhelming list into a strategic research tool, navigate the sometimes-murky waters of relationship predictions, and harness practical tools like WATO and BanyanDNA to unlock the family secrets hidden in your genetic code. Fair warning: once you learn to read the stories in your DNA matches, your family tree will never look the same again.

It’s been a few years since I last heard Diahan speak but she’s still among the best in the business. Very helpful. Thanks!

I have taken many of your courses from the free ones to the Endogamy and WATO course. There are always good nuggets that help put the pieces together for these complex topics, and I am inspired to tackle DNA mysteries again. When I do start to tackle the DNA mysteries, I always run into gotchas, either with the tools or the DNA content, that I don’t fully understand so it is a little intimidating and requires dedicated practice.

Diahann Is an excellent speaker who makes DNA and its research so much easier for we amateur, even though experienced genealogists to continue our quest with more sophisticated tools and steps. I am the ‘Marilyn’ who asked about endogamy and can’t wait for my next research time to build my bubble groups as advised by Diahann.

This is the most informative webinar I have ever attended. Diane’s presentation was clear and concise. It made me aware I needed to make changes in my DNA analysis. I will need to view this webinar again.

I’m overwhelm by the new information. I have see if I have access to the SMoM tool. I’m definitely need to what this again. Trying to use the Wato, Wato+ or Banyon DNA may take a while.

Diahan is by far the best presenter ever. She knows her stuff, she is articulate, sure of herself, moves at a fast pace, but annunciates so well you can keep up. She doesn’t say hum, she is prepared, her visuals are eye catching and fun.

Another webinar that I will need to re-watch to get the full benefit. I think I have a problem in that I only have a few DNA matches that share more than 100 cm with me or with each other so forming bubble groups may be a problem – I may have that wrong hence the need to watch again. Diahann’s webinars are always good value.
