Great webinar!!!
Mia gives a well organised, informative presentation
Mia Bennett is an excellent speaker and extremely knowledgeable about the topic of newspapers. So many different sites to check related to ancestors’ circumstances. I found Mia’s comparison of different newspaper websites extremely interesting and enlightening.
Excellent speaker
I have used the Newspaper Archives at Find My Past for several years but still found lots of new information, tips and inspiration from this excellent talk by Mia
Newspapers are a great resource, and Mia’s tips and tricks were presented beautifully. There is the bonus of great links in the beautifully written syllabus!
Isn’t Mia Bennett just the best with her presentations! Mia goes all out to provide the best tips on a level whether for a beginner or an advanced researcher. And as always, have learnt more new things to assist with my researching. Thanks Mia and thanks also to Fiona Brooker for hosting tonight’s session.
Good clear explanation of some of the information you can find in newspapers. Great to have British newspapers highlighted and some good hits to take advantage of information found.
