About this webinar

Have you always wanted to write your family stories but have never gotten around to it or known where to begin? Perhaps you’ve started but are stuck or overwhelmed. Good news! Capturing your family stories can be easy and fun with Brenda Hudson’s “story project” technique. In this webinar, you will learn three different story projects, each resulting in a different kind of family story that takes less than 30 minutes. Use this technique to build your family legacy one story at a time, capturing as many stories as you like, knowing your stories will help your family connect with each other, now and in the future, by spurring conversations and strengthening family bonds across generations.

Through my life people have said to me “great attention to detail”… but then there’s the other side of that, haha. Thank you Brenda for the inspiration to be more relaxed to write!

Her presentation was excellent. By involving the audience participation I believe that she created a motivation in many of the listeners. As I stated, the way that she constructed her syllabus left plenty of room for the listener to add their own notes. I would recommend that this be shared with other speakers so that they could do the same.

Family stories are now much more achievable. The simple explanations made me feel that I am capable after all. I have been feeling totally overwhelmed with this daunting task but now am ready to go ahead once more. Thank you. Patricia.

I find it so hard tp write down Family Stories. I can tell them to others but to put them in written form not so much, hoping these ideas will work for me.

Carol, perhaps try recording your stories, talking into your phone or other recording device, as if you were speaking directly to a family member. Also, you might be pleasantly surprised by spending 10 minutes writing down what comes to mind! Good luck!
