Was not sure I would find this subject useful, but am so glad I took this webinar as it was exactly where I needed to be. I have Jewish relatives that came from both Poland and Lithuania. I know from world history class even into more recent history that the borders have changed many times. This gave me more perspective and resources on where to begin to look for records. Thank you Michelle! Suggestion, in the beginning, going more point by point as it was a bit hard for (me anyway) to follow.
Very informative.
Good info. Got Ashkenazi Jews from that area. Need to watch for the changing borders. Great presentation.
From personal experience, I was aware that researching here is difficult. She has shown it to be more complex and has offered some sites that I had not considered. Would appreciate more webinars on this topic as 1 hour only touches the surface.
Detailed and informative enjoyed the presentation.
