Love Nathan’s books and The Sterling Affair is my favourite, so it was great hearing the background process! I really like knowing how much of a story is fact or fiction and inspiration behind the story.
Nathan’s books always include a genealogical or DNA-based gem that you can put into practice in your own research and I consider them part of my genealogy education! I also love the way he has addressed DNA surprises in his stories and some of the other personal and ethical challenges readers might face around research.
Also checkout GSI Events if you fancy taking part in the puzzle of a Venator mystery – great fun!

Any webinar with Nathan is excellent! Maybe surprisingly to others, the first books by him that I read were his local history books when I moved to Hastings from Kent – I never guessed then that, several years later, I’d be reading genealogical mysteries by the same author (who had moved in the opposite direction!). Thanks for all your writing.

Great Idea. Very interesting to understand the work that goes into a book.
