Thank you for sharing this incredible story of your grandmother, Stephanie! It’s a good reminder that we cannot judge a book by its cover.
Very interesting research situation.
What a great presentation! Kudos for researching and presenting what could be noted as an uncomfortable topic. I think it is sometimes hard to understand the situation and try to put it in perspective. One certainly must be very open minded during the research process and not be so quick to pass judgement. Sometimes they did what they had to do in order to survive. Thank you for a wonderful presentation!
Fantastic presentation! The content was very interesting and a great demonstration of how historical context can aid genealogical research. Plus, Stephanie was a wonderful presenter!
Always interesting to ‘eavesdrop’ on other people’s research thoughts/process, and it is helpful to see that process matched to the Standards.
The subject was very well researched and presented. The historical, social and economical context was thoroughly researched and presented. I thoroughly enjoyed the presentation and learned where and how to research better.
Very good Webinar! I now know how to try to search for a cousin~!
Great presentation. It gives me the motivation to look deeper.
