Love this! So many ideas for me to track down for my War of 1812 ancestors including the ones who served but did not get a pension. Thank you!

He was from Ontario County, New York and it is probably why it was confused with him being from Canada. Excellent presentation. Very inspirational. I am going to find out if I do have an 1812 veteran. I do have a Revy veteran, Captain.

Excellent webinar! Michael Strauss is always great. This webinar has motivated me to try one more time to find information on a possible War of 1812 veteran ancestor.

Michael Strauss has an excellent speaking voice, has outstanding historical context, and, in my opinion, a must view educator.

Five is just not enough for such a wonderful presentation! So enjoyed the explanation of the background of the War of 1812, so many speakers leave out the great information.

Program today was very informative with great search sites to explore.. Will use these sites later when I go back to review each ancestor (collateral to me personally), that was related to my X and for my son to have as a record for all his lineages (personal and collateral)..
