Michael G. Hait, Jr., CG®, AG®, works as a genealogist for the United States federal government. He has published numerous articles in the Maryland Genealogical Society Journal, the New York Genealogical and Biographical Record, the National Genealogical Society Quarterly, and The Genealogist. He won the NGS Family History Writing Contest in 2012 and the ASG Scholar Award in 2021.
