She is an Associate of the Association of Genealogists and Researchers in Archives (AGRA) and previous trustee of the Society of Genealogists. She is an alumna of the Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy (SLIG) & the Genealogy Research Institute of Pittsburgh (GRIP).
