Lene Dræby Kottal has been a professional genealogist in Denmark since 2013 and holds the Certified Genealogist credential from the Board for Certification of Genealogists. Lene has earned an academy profession degree in marketing economics and taken various classes at the University of Southern Denmark, including linguistics, American history, and social studies. Before founding her genealogy research business, she worked as a financial clerk for multinational corporations and for a public childcare institution. Lene’s passion for genealogy was ignited at age 17 when she discovered her Czech ancestry. Since then, she has researched her Danish, Swedish, Finnish, and Czech ancestors.
