With the right tools, searching for your French Canadian ancestors in Quebec has never been easier. French Canadians are passionate about their ancestral lineage, consequently a large number of repositories exist, both public and private, to help trace your French Canadian ancestors. Although the well known Drouin Collection is a wonderful source of genealogical data, many more databases exist on French Canadian ancestry. This presentation will focus on lesser known databases and websites to help you find your elusive French Canadian ancestors or to add valuable information to your ancestors’ lives.

Great to hear about Canadian research from a Canadian. While familiar with many of the sites mentioned, there are a few new ones worth exploration.
It was awesome. Been working on my cousin's tree and did a lot of research and expanded back to a Native American Sewatha Straight Tail who married Martin Chartier. With the first DB, Fichier, etc., today during seminar, was able to find and confirm this heritage, including many of his family's deaths at the Lachine Massacre by the Iroquois. When I started this, my cousin didn't even know his great grandparents on either side. I have his family back to these 1600's and more on some. Merci Beaucoup!!
Very nicely presented. Covered many sources not widely known as the Drouin collection.
now I have a few more sites to try as I start looking into Canadian ancestors.
I was surprised I hadn't heard of a few of the websites mentioned. I learned a lot today.
Was pleased to discover web sites about which I had no knowledge that will help fill in the blanks concerning pre-immigration information and also those who entered religious life.
Thank you
I have seen Johanne before, so was thrilled to attend this webinar. Excellent presenter.
