There are over 200 lineage societies that exist today – more than the commonly known societies. Perhaps you have an ancestor that was accused of witchcraft? A founder of a town? A colonial tradesman? British royalty? There is a society for all of these and many more.

Thank you. I had no idea there were so many lineage societies. I’ll have to start investigating some of these for helpful information. Personally, I’m not interested in joining, though I would be eligible for the Mayflower Society, descendants of Pilgrim Howland, SAR, etc. But I might reconsider, based on some of the info you provided today.
I have know Kim for some years, and she certainly knows a lot about lineage societies. I loved her presentation!
Thank you for all of the information.
Well prepared presentation including details that were extremely helpful
It was an interesting topic. I had no idea there were so many organizations! Thanks so much.
It was very informative. I did not realize that there was a society for Cape Cod as most of my ancestors lived there and I stayed in Chatham with my Grandmother one summer. I also worked there.
Need to watch again before rating.
Good info Thanks
