Information was very helpful for my Danish ancestry
Learned so much! I’ve been researching my Danish side for about 20 years and never had much luck before all these great online resources became available to Americans a few years ago. The new collections, especially English translated abstracts and indexes (I’m discovering new sources almost daily!) broke tons of brick walls and I’m back to 1700s names now when I used to only have great-grandparents (the immigrants to NYC). Can’t wait to keep going with these new tips from Mike.
Clausen, Danish side. Any relatives in Chicago? Mmmm
Very well organized and presented. He did not try to present too much into for the given time.
Absolutely must watch again webinar, to get the most information on Danish genealogy and the different techniques we can use for searching for records.
Very useful for a neophyte Danish researcher—just wish I could have taken down notes on all of the fast moving slides and web links. Mike was very well organized and helpful. I’ll have to watch again for some forgotten hints if I get stuck.
Unfortunately I missed the first 15 minutes but was glued to the rest of the webinar. Very informative and helpful! I certainly have a lot of work o do!
My family is from Schleswig-Holstein. I found this class very useful.
Informative and helpful
