Michelle Goodrum, CG, is a genealogical researcher and educator whose journey into family history began with a junior high project. When she uncovered ancestral roots stretching across countless regions, she was hooked. Michelle earned her Certified Genealogist credential from the Board for Certification of Genealogists in 2023. She recently retired from teaching in Boston University’s Genealogical Certificate Program, where she is also a certificate holder. Her commitment to genealogical education included serving on the Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy committee for three years. Michelle holds an undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Washington. She and her husband enjoy splitting their time between Mesa, Arizona, and Freeland, Washington.
