Carol Ansel has been the Director of the Godfrey Memorial Library and Genealogical Research Center in Middletown, CT since 2019. After a long career as a school librarian she decided to combine vocation and avocation and pursue genealogical librarianship. She has an MLIS from the University of Rhode Island and earned her Genealogical Research Certificate from Boston University.
