Loïc Duchamp

Loïc DUCHAMP is a professional genealogist and genetic genealogy investigator since 2019.

Since I was 18, I have explored archives, family mysteries, and forgotten destinies with one purpose: to reconnect families with the truth of their past. Founder of Étude Duchamp Généa Services, I work at the crossroads of traditional research, advanced DNA analysis, and immersive historical storytelling.

As a professional genealogist, I specialize in complex lineages, migration paths, notarial networks, land records, and multi-country investigations across France, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, Belgium, and the United States.

As a genetic investigator, I combine autosomal DNA, Y-DNA and mitochondrial analysis with archival evidence to resolve hidden filiations, lost branches, and long-standing family enigmas. My international work such as the extensive Urban family reconstruction between Sardinia, Italy, and France has reunited relatives separated for more than a century.

As a genealogical tourism creator, I design immersive experiences through Narr@tix with Sandrine a unique project that blends field investigation, local history, 3D reconstructions, and narrative storytelling, enabling families to literally walk in the footsteps of their ancestors.

I have also organized tailored ancestral journeys for American clients wishing to explore and reconnect with their family roots here in France.

Honorary President of the Généa Drôm’Ardèche Club, I train researchers in cadastral archives (3Q), mortgages (4Q), notarial series, hospital records, court archives, and genetic methodology. I also publish historical sagas that combine historical accuracy with emotional resonance.

My mission is clear: to restore identity, meaning, and continuity to every family through archives, DNA, and lived experience.
