This class will be presented live and unscripted, giving attendees a first-hand look at how a professional genealogist analyzes and records information from a passenger record found at MyHeritage.com. 1. Legacy Family Tree
    7 years ago

    A very helpful presentation…

    Always good.

    Always informative and fun.

Always interesting to watch Geoff struggle, as we all do, through recording a source. It’s empowering to realize we all have the same challenges and helpful to see how others resolve issues.

Always love to learn new things to do with Legacy!

Excellent thought process for all of us!

Good to review the 7 steps.

    Great information

Great tips from an expert. Interesting to watch how Geoff’s mind works in setting up data entry and retrieval options. I found it very interesting and informative.

I always learn thing when I watch anyone — especially Geoff — do REAL work. REAL work = REAL problems = REAL solutions.

I have been using Family Tree maker v10 (not 2010) and took a year subscription with Ancestry and have been trying to decide about a new program. I have Legacy 8 and really enjoy the features presented today. I didn’t realize there was so much data that I could put in the program. Will definitely start working on understanding it better. Thanks.

    Inspiring!

It is helpful to see an expert using tools you didn’t know existed. I just added the downloaded record as a media file. But now I see the utility of all the other steps!

Jeff always does a great job.

Learned a lot about Legacy features and also from Geoff’s thinking out loud process.

Lots of good information with step-by-step instructions.

    My first live webinar. Great.

Only got in on the last 15 minutes or so. Loved what I saw. Can’t wait to go back and watch the whole thing.

Really appreciate Geoff walking through live how to use Legacy, it makes it much easier to understand for me.

So helpful, if only I could be so organized as Geoff

This was my first webinar and found it very informative.

Very informational on citing references. Especially on how to share citation to other family members without having to enter more than once

Very interesting webinar. Hint: I found it useful to have Legacy 9 open on my laptop while I watched the webinar on my desktop.

While I have added passenger lists before, I learned some new tricks that I am anxious to try. Thank you.

You make it look so EASY. Thank you.
