Very informative about the various services and sites available on the different operating systems. It was very straightforward and providing the pros and cons of using the different genealogy tools was very helpful. This webinar will help me be less overwhelmed by the plethora of choices out there to assist me in my research .
I’m so grateful that there is someone who is teaching Mac & iOS classes because I love my iPad and would like to do EVERYTHING on it. I now have a mentor to consult with and look to for additional companion products & apps. I’m taking a genealogy trip to Ireland and want to only take my iPad if I can. Now I have a source for information, tips, tricks, etc.!
Liked the specific examples and pictures of pathways on the computer. Thank you.
I'm a Pc user (Mac user throughout college), this is an eye opening webinar, where I can explore the possibility and research implications of switching to a Mac (don't tell my current Pc). The apps, websites, and other tips'n'tricks are useful tools for my tool box of learning genealogy. Thanks so much! Sarah M.
As it turns out I am not ready to choose Apple over Windows, but I am fascinated by all it is capable of & have family that swears by it. You are a wealth of knowledge Nancy & I am bookmarking the syllabus as a frame of reference for the future. Thank you!
Nancy was interesting to listen too. I was hoping for more information on the iPad usage.
Outstanding amount of information in so short a time. Hope to see more of the same in the future.
A lot to learn for a newbie!! Need to watch it again about a dozen times to get it all--or buy her e-book!!
