New England Historic Genealogical Society is America's founding genealogical organization. Established in 1845, NEHGS strives to educate, inspire, and connect people through family history discovery. From our research center in Boston, Massachusetts we provide family history services, develop original scholarship, lead transformative educational tours and programs, publish genealogies and essential handbooks, and deliver data-rich online resources to our members and friends around the world.
