Very important information, especially to those of use who think our ancestors were guiltless because they lived in the North. Ari's explanation of Rhode Island's involvement in the slave trade confirmed what a cousin's research into our family revealed to him. It's sad and disappointing, but it is our history, and we must learn from it.
