Very well organized and informational. I like that Janice had sufficient slides to illustrate her points, without overwhelming viewers with too many graphics. Thanks also for including maps!!

My father’s Longhurst and Burton Families were in Ontario/ Canada East. I have researched for years but now, I can go more in-depth. Especially helpful was the Agricultural Census of 1851/52 and being able to see the headings close up. Many thanks.

I found this to be a very informative presentation, along with the syllabus. I look forward to more webinars presented by Janice Nickerson about one of my ancestral homelands, to wit: Ontario (Canada West, Upper Canada).

I am really looking forward to early Canada West/Ontario research – I have 15 ancestors (so far) born there before 1850
