You’ve recorded that video or audio interview, now what? This presentations builds on the best practices covered in Colleen’s part one webinar. We will explore ideas and tools for trimming out mistakes or sensitive content, and for adding a title screen and ending credits screen before sharing with others. We will also look at ways to enhance your recordings by weaving in relevant supporting visual imagery like photos, maps, and historical documents. Finally we will review options for generating full text transcriptions of your interviews.

There are so many wonderful programs out there, but this was especially interesting to me because it answered some of my questions about putting my mother's life story together. I chose to digitize the 70 pages of her cursive writing, but now will go back and transcribe it (moreover because I love to type and transcribe her beautiful handwriting) and add photos and text memories to it. I'm excited to have this "nudge" to move forward on the project.
I rarely rate a 5, but this was clearly presented with excellent ideas and follow-along technical instructions. I loved especially the video editing segment; I'm eager to try it!
WOW, just wow! I can't wait to try these tools and put together some videos. Thank you, Colleen!
Colleen Robledo Greene not only shares her passion for family history with her viewers but also provides such a wonderful amount of detail that reflects her deep knowledge & impressive command of her subject material! Bravo!
It gave me more ideas!
This was nothing short of outstanding. Honestly, one of the best I've seen. Of course, I've been chomping at the bit to transcribe all of my interviews. Can't wait to get started with these great tools!
Interesting but complicated. Lots of good ideas.
