Have you enjoyed a unified effort in which you accomplished so much more with the help of others than you could ever have done alone? The cooperation, connection, and associations that result from such unified effort also established a protection to the results that were unexpected. Join Karen Clifford as she shares a ten-year experiment using the Collaborate tool at FamilySearch to shine a light on selected ancestors, and help to attract unknown, yet later proven relatives to our common family tree. See how the partnership between FamilySearch, and MyHeritage opened the previously closed door to a new generation.

Excellent sylubus. Great presentation.
Informative & well presented & learned so much. Collaboration appears to be a great strategy. Also, I have her Johann Adam Beckenpaug 1682-1747 & Anna Maria Schmitt 1693-1778 in my tree! My 5th great-grandparents. I descend through their daughter Barbara who married Daniel Fortney. So nice to know they are so well researched!
Before this webinar, I was unaware of the collaborate tool and, in particular, how to use it to assist myself and others in our research. Thank you Karen Clifford for your very educational and informative presentation, and a great learning experience!
Wonderful. Definitely need to watch again! Thank you for the very thorough syllabus so appreciated by a ‘note-taker’ with arthritic hands. After more than 40 years of research I learned so many things my mind is spinning!
The background story of Karen’s ancestral family helped explain why the collaborative tool in FamilySearch can be so useful. Taking the extra time to explain the work that has already been done also teaches others. Karen also showed how a kind explanation can encourage collaboration instead of angst among FamilySearch users.
This webinar was extremely informative in learning the different aspects of the collaboration tool in FSFT. This skill is going to be so useful in furthering my research.
WOW!!! Great presentation filled with practical advise and hints but also a very interesting case study. I will watch this one again for sure.
As always, a great informative webinar. I have been listening to many and always learn something new, especially ones dealing with Family tree.
