I do disagree with one thought in this video, though. Sometimes one *can* have the same genealogical relationship with a really young person and a very old person. There is a similar situation in a distant relative's tree. There are 51 years between the father's first child and his last child. If that first child had a child at 16 years of age and the youngest child had a child at age 40(which is common in their social circle), there would be a 75 year age difference between those first cousins.
I think using age as a basis to assume cousin relationship levels can lead to a wrong assumption.

All the tools are overwhelming! I watched this yesterday and worked on some of the topics this morning. Realized I can make a lot of progress by following the steps. Had not paid much attention to ethnicity before. Had some "lightbulb" moments this morning. Thank you.
