I was very interested in hearing what he had to say about researching war records. This area is a weak point in my research skills and I usually avoid doing this type of research because I end up frustrated. I will be watching his other webinars.

Such an interesting topic to delve into and LOTS of great resources to check out later (though my opinion may be a bit biased, since one of his case studies happens to be an ancestral couple of mine–super fun to see). I was very interested in hearing what he had to say about researching war records. This area is a weak point in my research skills and I usually avoid doing this type of research because I end up frustrated. I will be watching his other webinars.
I especially found his presentation helpful as I have Loyalists in my family who left for Canada.
I learned a lot about history – one of my passions. I learned about a group of people that I had not considered what their future may have held.
So far, I haven’t found any Loyalists in my Colonial New England branches but there are many lines to explore where this information will be handy.
