The final Part IV of our series on researching your World War II ancestors covers various records and resources from the home front. This series looks closely at women and their service on both the fighting front at back home centering on their many contributions to the winning of the war. After victory and the end of the war in 1945 records were again created in the post-war years that point back to the early days of the war; including documents detailing alien registrations and veteran claim files for those who faithfully served.
