Excellent as usual…Nicka is does amazing research.
A powerful story with excellent documentation. This is how real genealogical research is done.
The most moving and riveting empirical evidenced-based history of the enslaved on American soil, with deed records, census records, estate transaction records that has every occurred. Groundbreaking history in the making. Nicka has done an outstanding job uncovering the undisclosed and hidden facts that deserve to be revealed as our ancestors are commissioning us to tell their stories, as they were prohibited from doing do. “I am Moosa Dunbar!” “I am Katy Dunbar!” I am the direct descendant of these remarkable people, who dared to survive through the dehumanization.
Lots of new information. Presented clearly and with passion.
An absolutely must watch again webinar, The detailed analysis and fact finding is breath taking. An amazing story!!
Excellent presentation.
Nicka is amazing, does she ever sleep? Lol.
The best. I am limited in my ability to travel, and have been feeling like giving up. But Nicka gave me ideas for continuing on with my African descended line in ways that can make it easier for my family and other researchers. I located the place and some interconnected families. I can recreate the community as much as possible from online records. I love community research anyway. So perhaps my legacy will be to recreate this network that I am a present-day member of.
