Love webinars by Mike Mansfield, keep forgetting there is no syllabus. Will watch it again and take notes.
Attended just for curiosity since my relatives are mainly from the US, Scotland or Sweden. But I need to think again. G G Grandfather from Ontario before moving south and A Swedish Grandfather who homesteaded in the NWT for a few years before moving to Montana. His brother stayed in Alberta. I now now know more about how to find them.
It was very good webinar. I do not have Canadian ancestors that I know of. I feel like I can tackle looking if I do find someone gone to Canada.
An absolutely fantastic webinar. I got to see into the conditions of my mother and her parents in Saskatchewan, Canada. The depression really hit hard and I was grateful for the insights that Mike gave. I can not wait to search the Census and go across the numerous provinces and find my family. Thanks so much.
