An excellent presentation, thoroughly researched and delivered at a comfortable pace that allowed time to take in the multiplicity of sources offered to make the point of how valuable the "place" is for our research. It certainly opened my eyes as to how to extend the reach of my research. As a descendant of migrants from Prussia and Poland to Australia, and being an avid research on the origins of World War One, I found Dave's presentation a breath of fresh air, and of immense value and interest.

Thank you Dave for an awesome presentation. It has given me a new approach to doing my Eastern European research with some of my brick walls.
