The Board for Certification of Genealogists (BCG) will host six free webinars live and to the public as this year’s Reisinger Memorial Lecture Series on 8 October 2021. The hour-long webinars begin at 11 a.m. U.S. Eastern time (9 a.m. Mountain time) and continue throughout the day. Six leading genealogists will speak on topic related to the Genealogical Proof Standard, DNA, ethics, immigration, and documenting our ancestors lives. The webinars are part of the Joy Reisinger Memorial Lecture Series, and are presented in conjunction with the Legacy Family Tree. The lecture series is in memory of BCG’s former trustee and vice president of the Board, Joy Reisinger, who began this lecture series for Family History Library staff during BCG’s fall board meetings.
