This was outstanding and I learned a great deal about different ways to search for burials. As far as military headstones, yes they have to be applied for. I have several relatives that served in the military, KIA or died later.
I have found the military applications and they were initiated by a close relative or family member. This sometimes contains a great deal of information, ie medals and location of burial.
Excellent
Outstanding information, wonderfully organized and presented with charm and humor! Great class and I got a few tips I’m anxious to research. Thank you!
Elizabeth Gomoll’s presentation was great. She knows her stuff and had excellent examples of cemeteries, headstones, and resources.
Clean, clear, good pacing, and very helpful. The handout has excellent resources with links, which should keep me busy for a while!
Fascinating presentation; well organized and full of information….easy to follow and well worth listening to.
It was very well organized with suggestions on searching for a grave and how to interpret what you find.
Great seminar with many good tips! The syllabus was also very helpful.
