Judy is so good and explains it so well. Always fun to listen to her.
That was such an interesting and informative presentation. I love to learn about how presenters apply the genealogical standards to their work.
I found it very interesting when she expanded the story rather than just listing facts. This is something that I will have to try. The presentation was excellent!
Judy never disappoints! She is such an amazing storyteller you don’t even realize how much you are learning during her talks. Such great insights and ideas are shared during this talk. A true gem of the genealogy community.
This was so thoroughly researched and presented. It’s always great to listen to Judy because can she add the legal interpretation to the genealogy research. Beyond that, this was a very intriguing story; really, the Hatfields and the McCoys. That was a great tidbit.
Excellent captivating webinar by an amazing speaker! Judy never fails to give a great presentation that is both educational and enjoyably entertaining.
Judy made the issue of the living members of my tree that I have ignored. We get involved in filling in the information without regard to how information effects people. I know that I will be a little more sensitive about publishing information about living people in my tree. Maybe secure permission.
Judy’s presentation effectively showed how to apply the Genealogical Proof Standard when researching historical events. Her breakdown of the Rhododendron Lodge shootout demonstrated how good documentation helps piece together what actually happened. The connection she made between an interesting story and proper genealogical methods was both informative and practical.
