About this webinar

In this session we will look at the earliest Polish Communities in Great Britain leading up to why and how these communities were developing. We then explore the expansion of such communities in the period leading up to the Second World War, Poles in Russia and Persia and subsequently leading to the Resettlement Act of 1947 and then settlement in Britain and beyond. This presentation is accompanied by a handout detailing genealogical avenues for research.
