Great will be trying to follow her techniques to research difficult searches that cannot be found in Ancestry or Family Search. Love her book Finding Italian Ancestors..
Great!
Great! Would love to hear more especially on the earliest records and alternate records.
I don’t have any Italian relatives but I found this to be very informative.
I enjoyed it and learned a lot. Thank you
I learned a lot. Now I need to but my knowledge into practice.
I made notes about BYU’s handwriting page, consanguinity, Stato Della Anime, qm, processetti is held at the parish level, dispensation is at the Dioceses level, the dictionary of Latin abbreviations, and affinity. Even though I’ve been working with the online church records for Acerra for years, looks like I still had more to learn. Thank you.
I particularly enjoyed the case study.
I thought I knew a lot about Italian records, but I learned a few new things. Thanks!
I would rate beyond 5, if I could…..excellent.

Lots of good information
Ottima Presentazione Suzanne! Grazie! From a frenchman in Amherstburg, Ontario where our mixed population had many Italians with their own Verdi club, Italian masses and, of course, choir. Ciao e stai al sicuro.
She speaks so clearly, a pleasure to listen to. Also great info.
So many ideas because we do know town from 1800s. Have an Italian marriage certificate for great great grandparents in 1870s. Know what to look for (glad I took Latin in the 1960s. Has been very helpful)
Speaker was very clear in her presentation, easy to follow.
Super
super informative. Good examples. I have searched thousands of civil records and only see a couple examples of parish records. Great info. Suzanne was a good presenter. THANK YOU!
Suzanne is my cousin, we share relatives from St. Louis. She is just awesome, as usual. I actually forgot about the Mother Church records in Sicily. I usually look at civil records. I guess she gave me more work to do. Thanks Suzanne!!!
