Ms. Southard’s ability to distill a complex process into such a graspable one is just outstanding. Her presentation style conveys her enthusiasm for this topic, and is infectious. This webinar has inspired me to want to go more in depth by taking her upcoming 2022 academy. Highly recommend this webinar!

This class was great! Diahan is wonderful! Her presentation was very clear making DNA, which often feels difficult to me, so much easier. Her passion & knowledge for the subject, fun attitude & excitement are very evident in her presentation, it is contagious in the best of ways. Thank you for loading the syllabus and the webinar with resources/tools. I hope I can get the chatlog to re-listen to your answer on my question concerning DNA from a tooth of a person closely related, recently passed on.

Brilliant webinar, which we absolutely need to watch again to start or continue our own detective story on our ancestral trail.

As always, I learn scads more when I sit in on Ms. Southard’s presentations… and I have her book! Today was fun. I love a good mystery & was totally unaware of Nathan Goodwin until today! Guess I have catch-up reading to do. After listening to Diahan’s talks, I feel so confident to charge right in to my matches, but still looking for family of my 3rd Grt-grandfather (b. abt 1825) whose surname doesn’t match his yDNA descendants’ tests. Will have to dive deeper into those clusters mentioned today.
