Via Find-A-Grave, I was contacted several years ago by family historians from 2 different family lines that I was totally unaware of. What resulted was getting all 3 lines of the Martin / Martens family together for annual reunions from 2014 through 2018, then Covid hit. Hopefully we can get it going again in 2023.

This was an excellent presentation. I took so many notes on the syllabus! I will be putting into practice something from each section. Thank you so much.

Hello from Sydney, Australia – I have a question if it’s still possible to ask – what would be the Australian version of vertical files and repositories? I’m not sure what to look for/at for this. Cheers, Louise

Wonderful webinar. So happy to hear that you’re planning a webinar to discuss the ways that the descendants of enslavers can work with the descendants of enslaved ancestors to share information. Imagine how that can help build diversity within the field of genealogy by helping families connect across that terrible divide!

Fantastic! I had to miss the Q&A portion (school pick-up for kiddo) but the presentation was so well done! I’m definitely watching it again and taking better notes. Thank you!
