Great information. I had already read Blaine Bettinger’s book, Guide to DNA Testing and Genetic Genealogy. The webinar helped me gain a better understanding of what information each type of DNA testing will provide. Especially the explanation of the genetic distance markers.
As a beginner genealogist I’m so thankful for this updated series and will sure come in use with my DNA analysis of autosomal matches of my ancestral lines.

The presenter had an invaluable power point and was clear in his explanations. I’m sure that questions on Mt DNA and Y DNA will be answered before the end of this series. I would love a new series showing step-by-step how he found his missing second great-grandmother using Autosomal DNA. Lots of the DNA detective tv shows skip too many steps on their discoveries.
