There is little documentation about Chinese railroad workers who built the Transcontinental and many other railroads in the U.S. starting in the 1860s. This webinar will describe some of the materials that do exist and other sources to use to learn more.

So very interesting. This is a subject I have always been interested in. I am not Chinese, but the history of the early west has always fascinated me, and these people who came over and then went back home to get a bride and come back were fascinating to me.
Fascinating topic and presentation! I don't have any Chinese ancestry but am always interested in learning about areas outside of my own ancestry. Thank you to Legacy for providing such a broad range of topics and to Grant for a really interesting presentation.
I enjoy learning more about other ethnicities and today's presentation did not disappoint. Thank you for the diversity!
Grant should develop a talk on paper sons.
