A very thorough, helpful talk on tracing Australian convict settlers from the United Kingdom and Ireland across the ocean and through their lives in Australia. Lovely example documents and overviews of the relevant databases in several countries.

Very interesting and well organised presentation. Have recently discovered that a brick wall ancestor may have been a convict and I’m trying to find records to prove or disprove. Kerry has covered some resources of which I was previously unaware.

Kerry was so interesting and had great research sources. I’m hoping that her lesson may offer some clues to why I have DNA matches in Australia!
