Love Mary Eberle and her case studies! Thanks for this excellent one on inherited X chromosome.
Really helped me with understanding how inherited X chromosome DNA can be used to identify more relationships with matches. Mary's comments about the availability of X-DNA from the different testing companies was particularly useful, have not heard those details before.

This was a great new way for me to look at inheritance. I have seen the X DNA in both FTNDA & GedMatch but never really knew how to apply it. Thank you for this new insight. That was a great process you showed. I often go back and forth with Google and other searches in between the genealogy sites. It's amazing how you can resolve something like that that easily.
This was a great case study using X DNA. It was a bit difficult to follow a few things (e.g., the initial chart showing X inheritance because relationships were not quite clearly defined), but overall it was a great demonstration of how powerful it is to use X DNA in our genealogy.
Very instructive case for using X-DNA in family history research
I have had my DNA on GEDmatch for years and had absolutely no idea the magnitude of an X match. Mary explained how to use it wonderfully. I am glad I have a long weekend coming up so I can do some research.
