Thanks for an absolutely stellar webinar! It was incredibly well organized, wonderfully illustrated and narrated. The information regarding geography was so helpful and led to being able to understand how to access records. I was most impressed by using the Household records as an index to access birth, death, and other information at the Swedish National Archives. The tips on organizing records from the Household Books was also very helpful. So very valuable! Thanks, Mike!

Amazing visuals in this webinar — maps and the related background history, including the “push and pull of immigration,” were quite valuable. I personally loved the map showing routes from Sweden to the New World. Mike is a gifted presenter of this content about Swedish genealogy.

A well-presented webinar. The webinar was organized including a brief history of Sweden. Then was a brief overview of the alphabet and handwriting. At the end of the webinar, Mike had a slide of all the resources we can use. A very interesting webinar. Now I just have to get the patronymics figured out!

gave some great ideas and /or websites to help with finding place names and peoples names if they were anglicized; also explained some about names switching from patronymics to standard last names
